Meet the Team!

  • Founder

    Hi! I’m Ellie Gutstadt and I am a sophomore studying Neural Science and Chemistry on the pre-med track. I hope to graduate early and pursue research opportunities before going to medical school and was inspired to go in to healthcare as a Child Life Volunteer at MSK Cancer Center! I am super passionate about education and mentorship and look forward to meeting the next generation of healthcare!

    Hello everyone! I’m Haley Ogbemudia and I studied Neural Science with a minor in Chemistry at NYU. With this, I plan to continue onto medical school with a focus on surgery. My dad mainly inspired my career path because as a young child I would follow him to his chiropractic clinic and seeing his unique approach to healthcare gave me insight on the extents of the field beyond the hard sciences. I value connecting with others and hearing about their experiences!

    Hello everyone! I’m Sameeha Hasan, a sophomore studying Biochemistry. I plan to go to medical school after I graduate. I have always loved science and as a student myself, I understand and appreciate the need for mentorship. I am excited to see the intersection between neuroscience and pain management & rehabilitation and apply it in the future, while also showing the multiple avenues of healthcare to others!

    Hi! My name is Sophia Del Giudice and I am a sophomore studying Neural Science with a minor in Chemistry and Medical Humanities on the pre-med track. I plan to go to medical school after I graduate and continue conducting clinical research. My neuroscience interests include memory processes and neurophysiology! A high school psychology class greatly inspired my genuine and vast passion in neuroscience and I hope to share this passion and inspire others to explore this amazing field!

    Hi, everyone! I’m Jennie Tran, and I’m currently a junior majoring in Biology. I’m on the pre-dental track as an aspiring orthodontist. Being able to share my experience as a pre-health student in order to spread awareness and help others is incredibly important to me, and I cannot wait for what opportunities Teaching the Brain will offer. I’ve always been fascinated by science, so I hope to share and foster that curiosity and wonder with other students.
